GlobalLogic announces strategic relationship with Kewill, plans to shift R&D operations to Pune

Agreement will accelerate time-to-market for key development Initiatives, opportunity to create a Global R&D center

Mumbai, March 7, 2007: GlobalLogic Inc., a leading provider of global software product development services, and Kewill (LSE: KWL), the leading supplier of global supply chain control software and services, today announced a strategic agreement that provides Kewill accelerated delivery and scalable resources for major product development initiatives, and enables GlobalLogic to centralize R&D activities.

Under this agreement, Kewill will transfer its Research and Development (R&D) operations in India to GlobalLogic and Kewill's India team will become an integral part of GlobalLogic's skilled workforce of software product engineering professionals. When the corporate transition is complete, GlobalLogic will explore the potential to move Kewill's 65 person R&D center in Aurangabad, India to join GlobalLogic's new Research and Development center in Pune, India. This move, if implemented, would accelerate the growth of the Pune center which is expected to scale to as many as 1,000 people within 24 months.

Mike Dolan, COO of Kewill said, "Our agreement with GlobalLogic will provide us the ability to reduce time-to-market through their Distributed Agile Method and product development experience. It also provides us the opportunity to leverage additional resources as our needs grow. We look forward to working with GlobalLogic on the expansion of Kewill capabilities"

Commenting on the strategic partnership, Sanjay Singh, President, GlobalLogic said, "This relationship reaffirms our belief that large and successful software companies can benefit from R&D agreements of this kind." He further added, "We are delighted that Kewill has decided to work with GlobalLogic for management of its offshore product delivery center.
