Sukhvir Singh is the first ever winner of the cricket talent hunt, Cricket Star - India 2007 organised by Investors in Cricket (IIC) and sponsored by Fair & Lovely Menz Active & Airtel. The right arm fast bowler was the man of the match during the 5th match in the Academy. Sukhvir says, 'It feels good when we find ourselves to be the fortunate ones to be associated with Cricket Star and have recieved such an opportunity to get encouragement from the big names in Cricket.'
Sukhvir comes from a humble background born and brought up in a small village Shahpur, district of Mohali. His father the only working member in the family is a governement employee in Chandigarh Transport undertaking.
