A special TADA court today sentenced Salim Shaikh, a Tiger Memon aide, to two concurrent life term, and two women Mubina Bhiwandiwala and Zebunissa Qazi were awarded five years rigorous imprisonment for their role in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts.The court sentenced Shaikh for being present at Tiger Memons residence when the RDX was filled in vehicles to be used in the serial blasts on March 12, 1993, and for driving down three people who threw hand grenades at the Mahim Fishermens colony killing three persons and injuring six.
