To succeed, emulsifier manufacturers will need to intensify their focus on product innovation in order to supply effective alternative solutions and expand the base of emulsifier varieties.

"Emulsifier manufacturers should collaborate with formulators to produce cost-effective solutions that enhance performance while exhibiting multiple properties," advises Mr. Kumar. "This will encourage formulators to minimise the use of other additives while experimenting with their end products. "
