Cosmo Films Limited, India's leading BOPP manufacturer and supplier announced its results for the third quarter of 2006-07 yesterday.

The company has registered an impressive growth of 60% in net profit after tax. The profit after tax was reported at Rs 433 Lacs as compared to Rs. 270 lacs for the same period last year.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Ashok Jaipuria, Chairman, Cosmo Films Limited said, "Our continuing focus on the growth of value added products has yielded good results for us. With greater focus on coated products and growth of thermal films primarily for global markets the company's results should be better in future, he added"

The company posted a Net Sales of Rs.13767 Lacs which was up by 29% as compared to the figure of Rs.10641 in the same quarter previous year.

The Profit Before Tax for the quarter was 105% high at Rs. 507 Lacs as compared to that of Rs. 247 Lacs in the same quarter previous year
