Textron Showcases Aviation and Aerospace Offerings at Aero India

Underscoring its commitment to the growing Indian aerospace and aviation market, Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) businesses are exhibiting this week at Aero India 2007, the region's flagship showcase for customers to see and experience the latest technologies, products and services in the aviation industry. The five-day event serves as a highly effective platform for Textron's aviation and aerospace businesses, including Bell Helicopter, Cessna Aircraft Company and Textron Defense Systems. Textron businesses will showcase a wide variety of innovative offerings and solutions and connect with customers in the Indian market.

Textron also will participate in and support the U.S.-India Business Council (USIBC) mission during Aero India 2007, which seeks to strengthen the momentum of the recent U.S.-India strategic partnership to showcase American excellence in technology superiority, reliability and long-term partnership, as well as build alliances, find partners and share cutting-edge technology with India. Textron Inc.'s Bruce Graham and Bell Helicopter's Jay Ortiz will participate as the U.S. industry representatives in the official delegation during the show.

Textron Businesses at Aero India:

Bell Helicopter is an industry-leading producer of commercial and military, manned and unmanned vertical lift aircraft and the pioneer of the revolutionary tilt rotor aircraft. Bell will showcase a mock-up of the Armed 407 and feature models of the V-22, H-1Z, 407, 412 and 417.

Based on unit sales, Cessna Aircraft Company is the world's largest manufacturer of general aviation airplanes and manufactures the broadest product line of aircraft in the world, including business jets, freight- and passenger-hauling turboprop-powered Caravans, and single engine piston aircraft. During Aero India, Cessna will exhibit the XLS, a business jet aircraft from the well-known Citation line, as well as the Grand Caravan.

Textron Defense Systems provides advanced technology solutions to meet the needs of the global defense and aerospace industries. At Aero India, Textron Defense Systems will feature its precision strike, air launched weapons, including Sensor Fuzed Weapon, and the BLU-108 and Selectively Targeted Skeet (STS) submunitions.

The Textron exhibit site at Aero India is located in Hall E, Stand E2.6.

Aero India 2007 is being held at the Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bangalore, the hub of aerospace activity in India and home to many of the country's top information technology companies and scientific institutions. The exhibition covers 30,000 square meters of outdoor exhibit space and 25,000 square meters of indoor space. In addition, the Yelahanka airfield will feature an extensive area for static aircraft exhibits as well as offer the flexibility of customer demonstration flights and a comprehensive daily flying display.
