'Sarhadein' by Nitish Pires Breaks Music Barriers in the Indi Rock Scene

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

'Sarhadein' by Nitish Pires released on Raga to Rock Records, produced by Ankush Shah of Green Leaves Resources (P). Ltd. and directed by Suresh Menon brings forth a new flavour to the Indi Rock scene.

Sarhadein in its true meaning which connotes borders/limits, speaks of overcoming all mental, physical and spiritual barriers imposed by inherited traditions and unfolding the breathtaking vistas and possibilities.

Talking of his musical journey, Nitish Pires says "It all began after I graduated from my junior college. I started learning the guitar and gradually moved in to a band named Parlay .Along with being their guitarist; I was also their lead singer singing some of their original compositions in English. I was mind blocked by the idea that a rock singer can only sing in English. However, it took me 2 years to realize that music doesn't have a language and is just an expression. I decided to do rock in Hindi and started composing for it. It took me years to make my first likeable song after which I decided it was time to move ahead. I formed my own band "Nakshatra ". With great financial constraints, we managed to cut our first album "Gulfam". Though it won critical acclaim it didn't do much to our careers. We eventually split. The urge to pursue music became stronger with this failure. I told my self no matter what I am not going to give up. I kept doing my part of pursuing my music career and eventually as luck would have it, things just fell into place. I got everything that I ever dreamed of to work on my solo album and here I am with my second album 'Sarhadein'. This album would have been hollow without the inputs and performance of the band "Sarhadein" is a culmination of so many years of wanting to be heard. I hope you guys like it and enjoy it".

Sarhadein is a soulfully beautiful album that will deeply resonate among its listeners revealing Nitish Pire's powerful voice and a challenging vision.
