Industry - Education alliance to create talented resource pool

Ahmedabad, February 15, 2007: Elitecore Technologies Limited, the leading integrated Internet Security Products Company & provider of telecom billing solutions, has today announced that it has tied up with Charotar Institute of Technology, Changa (CITC) to start Research & Development on Next Generation Networks (NGN).

This is a unique Industry - Education alliance to raise the IT education level of Gujarat's talent to Global industry standards. This alliance will address the lack of talented resources in Gujarat which in turn affects the IT growth of Gujarat.

Currently, CITC has a total of 1600 students. Out of these almost 600 students are in the graduate and post-graduate courses in MCA, Information Technology and Computer Engineering which will be eligible to undergo the screening test to qualify for the NGN R&D setup. Elitecore expects to absorb most of these students in their offices worldwide.

As part of the agreement, Elitecore Technologies would set-up equipments, infrastructure and monetarily facilitate the setting up of the R&D facility at CITC. Elitecore would provide the complete network infrastructure for the R&D facility and conduct extensive research programs. It would also provide an executive mentor & visiting faculty for the program.

In return CITC will provide dedicated faculties, associate with world NGN forums, screen & select students for the R&D facility and publish research reports and make presentations at world NGN forums.

Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Hemal Patel, CEO - Elitecore Technologies Ltd said, "Elitecore is committed to partnering with educational institutes to raise the level of education to global industry standards. Next Generation Networks is the way forward for communication technology and with research exposure in this field the students of CITC would gain a lot.
