Stalwarts from the Indian team like Yuvraj Singh, Rahul Dravid, Gautam Gambhir, Ramesh Powar and Wasim Jaffer have also provided some tips to Sukhvir who has so far played seven matches for Leicestershire's second team, picking up 17 wickets. Sukhvir has worked with Dennis Lillee at the MRF Pace Academy and has interacted with Cricket luminaries like Kapil Dev, Waqar Younis, Geoffery Boycott to name a few.

Tim Boon, the Leicestershire County coach says "Sukhvir's daily practice includes the fitness testing and screening as well as practicing with the squad. We have placed him with Ivanhoe one of our profile clubs and played him in some Second team games."

It took one full month for Sukhvir to come to the terms with the cold climatic conditions of England. "I am blessed & lucky to spend my summers here and receive the right kind of guidance from the Cricket Gurus. I have come a long way from my village and still have a long way to go to fulfill my ultimate dream of playing for India", says Sukhvir. Thanks to the reality show Cricket Star that has given Sukhvir a chance to turn his dreams into reality.
