Fobaz Launches First Retail Store in India

FoBaz Foto Bazaar (India) Pvt. Ltd., India's leading photo portal, first-of its- kind company in India to provide a comprehensive set of photo services that include online storage, sharing, photo print delivery, photo gift creation, etc., today launched its first set of stores in Delhi, India.

With this FoBazTM, kicked off the launch of its retail chain expansion plans in India. FoBaz products and services which so far were available on-line only, through its e-portal at www.fobaz.com, will now be available at retail also. As part of the business strategy, FoBaz will now have a mass reach to its customers and the customers will have greater access to FoBaz products and services. Customers will not only be able to access FoBaz's unique set of products and services at various retail stores across the country, they will also be able to order these on-line and take delivery of the products at any of the company's stores. With this the company is on tract to deliver on its strategic goal of "from anywhere.... to anywhere".

On the occasion of the launch, Mr.Tarun Kapoor, MD of Kapoor Digital Labs and a FoBaz franchisee at Lodhi Colony, New Delhi, said: "We now stand on a platform where we can reap the benefits of Digital photography market in India. The company set up a photo e-portal in Octorber 2006 which delivers a host of services which have revolutionized the way India looks at pictures. With the launch of the first three stores in Delhi, Mr. Ahluwalia also shared the launch of 50 more stores across India soon. He also announced a tie up with a Mumbai based company to organize 100+ more FoBaz stores in Western India in next couple of months. The company is on track to have 150+ stores by the end of the year.
