Spirit AeroSystems - Infosys set up a Global Engineering Centre in Bangalore

Spirit AeroSystems today announced that it is teaming up with Infosys to set up an Engineering Center at the Infosys campus in Bangalore. The centre will focus on high-end engineering services including product development, design and analysis of airframe structures, engineering change management and stress engineering support. The Engineering Center will grow into a Global Virtual Real-time operation for Spirit AeroSystems.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Bob Waner, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Spirit AeroSystems said, "This is a great opportunity for Spirit AeroSystems to strengthen its presence in India. Infosys is our first Indian Engineering partner and the center at Infosys will play a key role in Spirit's strategic interest in India.
