New Delhi, Delhi, India

In its official communique to the Registrar of Pundit Ravi Shankar Shukla, the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has granted a 'One Time Approval' to Rai Foundation Colleges, Raipur, Chhatisgarh.

The communique is a sign of relief for the existing students towards the long-awaited solution to the post February 11, 2005 directions of the Hon' able Supreme Court of India to nullify all universities set up under the Chhatisgarh Niji Kshetra Vishwidyalaya Adhiniyum 2002 for conduct of Technical courses.

The communication has come in recognition to Rai Foundations painstaking efforts and commitment towards the protection of interest of the students of the erstwhile Rai University.

Mr. Vinay Rai, Chairman of Rai Foundation Colleges said, " We welcome this encouraging initiative by the AICTE. The statement is a long overdue for the affected students of the erstwhile Rai University, Raipur. With RFC, Raipur obtaining affiliation from the affiliating Pt. Based on the recommendation of the Expert Committee of AICTE and the affiliating University, AICTE has granted the Approval to the MBA, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Bio Technology courses and the period of approval is from 2004-2008.
