Directorate General of Resettlement (DGR), a body of Ministry of Defence which facilitates the welfare of the retired defence personnel today announced the launch of revamped www.DGRIndia.com, the official website of DGR. This initiative of DGR, www.dgrindia.com is launched to facilitate the core objective of making the information on employment, welfare schemes, and self employment policies available online in the remotest of areas. For the resettlement, the website has been made user friendly for the defence personnel to register on the site anytime and get the information on the latest employment opportunities in the corporate world.
The new site has a very user-friendly interface and is extremely fast. This site has been developed and now maintained by Monster.com, a leading job portal, who has been assigned the responsibility to build and maintain the site for DGR. Monster, which has 12 years of experience in executing such online solutions for the Government bodies across the globe, will be managing the site.
The new portal will be now be available for ex-defence personnel for registering their resumes and search for jobs in the corporate world. They can now search jobs by skills, location, experience and even expected salary. As for employers, they can now search their prospective employees from the vast database of DGRIndia.com and narrow down their prospective employee with just few clicks.
