Prime Minister Manmohan Singh meets President
New Delhi: May 24, 2004

The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh called on the President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam at Rashtrapati Bhavan this evening. The meeting between the two leaders lasted 30 minutes. This was the first meeting between the two leaders, since Dr. Manmohan Singh was sworn-in as the Prime Minister on Saturday.

The two leaders discussed matters of national and international importance including the forthcoming Parliament Session. The Prime Minister informed the President that the Cabinet had decided to request him to address both Houses of Parliament at 11 A.M. on 7th June 2004
