New Delhi: June 5, 2004

Lok Sabha Speaker, Shri Somnath Chatterjee called on the Vice President, Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat at No. 6, Maulana Azad Road here today. This was his first meeting with the Vice President after assuming the office of the Speaker of the Lok Sabha. The two leaders remained together for about half an hour. It was officially described as a courtesy call.
