Extension of Tatkal Reservation Scheme
New Delhi: July 15, 2004

Lok Sabha

It is proposed to extend the Tatkal scheme for reservation to all Mail/Express trains and in all classes except 1st AC and 1st class. After finalization of modalities, the scheme would be implemented.

This information was given by the Minister of State for Railways Shri R. Velu in a written reply to a question from Shri Pankaj Chowdhary in the Lok Sabha today.
