Traffic diversions for Republic Day Parade rehearsals

New Delhi: January 19, 2004 16:41 IST

Rehearsals for the Republic Day Parade will be held on Tuesday Jan 20 & Jan 21 (standby) at Rajpath and full dress rehearsal will be held on Jan 23, from Vijay Chowk to Red Fort via Rajpath - India Gate - Tilak Marg Bahadurshah Zafar Marg - Netaji Subhash Marg. Public is advised to take alternative routes as crossing of Rajpath from Vijay Chowk to India Gate on 20 and 21 Jan and from Vijay Chowk to Red Fort on 23 Jan will be prohibited. Public may cross Rajpath /route of the parade on Rehearsal days before 0900 hrs on 20, 21, & 23 Jan 2004. People who have to go to offices in North Block, South Block and other offices around Rajpath are advised to reach the offices by 0900 AM.
