PM condoles demise of Shri Krishna Raj

The Prime Minister, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee has expressed grief on the demise of the editor of ‘The Economic and Political Weekly’, Shri Krishna Raj.

In a message, Shri Vajpayee said that Shri Krishna Raj was an academician among the community of journalists. Under his long and dedicated stewardship ‘The Economic & Political Weekly’ emerged as a unique magazine that discussed the current issues with academic seriousness and became a forum for varied opinions and voices. Shri Krishna Raj will be remembered for his defining influence and intellectual discourse on day to day problems confronting the common man and polity of the country, the Prime Minister added.
