New Delhi: May 14, 2003

Shri C.D.Arha has taken over as the Secretary, Ministry of Mines, Government of India. A 1968 batch IAS Officer Shri Arha belongs to Andhra Pradesh Cadre. Prior to his appointment to the Mines Ministry, he was Special Secretary and Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Coal. He joined the new post after the retirement of Dr.A.K.Kundra, former secretary, Mines.
