Asian Development Bank provides US $ 1045 Million credit for Urban Projects
New Delhi: July 29, 2003

Asian Development Bank has provided credit for Urban Environmental and Infrastructure Facilities Project in various parts of the country as follows:

1. Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development Project (Loan amount US $ 80 million).

2. Karnataka Urban Development and Coastal Environmental Management Project (Loan amount US $ 145 million).

3. Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure Development Project (Loan amount US $ 250 million).

4. Kolkata Environmental Improvement Project (Loan amount US $ 220 million).

5. Gujarat Earthquake Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Project (Loan amount US $ 350 million).

This information was given by Shri Pon. Radhakrishnan, Minister of State for Urban Development & Poverty Alleviation in a written reply to the question of Shri Savshibhai Makwana in Lok Sabha today.
