 VICE PRESIDENT TO CHAIR FIRST MEETING OF THE NATIONAL COMMITTEE FOR CELEBRATION OF BIRTH CENTENARY OF CHAUDHARY CHARAN SINGH

New Delhi: January 06, 2003

Vice President Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat will chair first meeting of the National Committee for celebration of Birth Centenary of Chaudhary Charan Singh here tomorrow. The committee will discuss projects and programmes to be undertaken to cherish the memory of late Chaudhary Charan Singh, former Prime Minister and champions of the farmers in a befitting manner.

The 40 members committee constituted by the Minister of Tourism and Culture includes:
