Compensation to accident victims
New Delhi: August 21, 2003

Accident compensation claims are adjudicated by Railway Claims Tribunal under Sections 124 and 124-A of the Railways Act on the basis of the evidence led by the claimant to establish that the persons injured or dead was a bonafide passenger.

This information was given by the Minister of State for Railways Shri Bandaru Dattatraya in a written reply to a question from Shri Vinay Kumar Sorake in the Lok Sabha today.
