Chandrababu Naidu sets new record as largest serving Non-Congress CM of AP
Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu has set a new record by becoming the longest serving Chief Minister of the state apart from the Congress rule in the state. Chief Minister had a number of problems earlier to get the Government move without any hurdles including the challenging comments made by the oppositions, Irrigation projects which need to be kept flowing despite water levels keep going down, Power reforms despite resistance from the farmer community, drought time etc. His decentralization of the party and assigning works to party workers to work for the development of constituencies.

TDP MP Mr. Ravula chandrasekhara Reddy said that it is unfair on Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy to make personal comments on CM. He said that the development plans of the state were clearly visible and that many states were today taking the reforms implemented in the state in them.

April 3, 2003
