Dec 2, 2001 Six people died in a road accident in Nellore when a Jeep and a Lorry collided. Nov 3, 2001 CM visits Nellore and Cuddapah flood effected areas Chief Minister Sri Chandrababu Naidu visited many flood effected areas of Nellore and Cuddapah including Venkatagiri constituency, Alapaleru dam and Teluguganga canal today. Women who met him said that they have not received any help from the Government. CM monitored the post-flood help that the Government will be extended necessary help. He also promised that sufficient funds will be allocated for the construction and repair works of roads, lakes etc. Oct 24, 2001 The Bundh called by APSRTC Employee Unions and other political parties except the TDP and BJP in Nellore district ended peacefully.
