NTPC begins its work for 7th Unit
The National Thermal Power Corporation began working on its 7th unit of power generation which gives a capacity of 500 MW out of which Andhra Pradesh gets 146 MW additional power. GM of NTPC, Ramagundam, Mr. K Prakasha Rao said that the total work was divided into 8 packages and that the Construction works will be given to BHEL and private companies. The construction works will be completed by 2004.
