Members of the TDP and BJP supported him while Congress members were forcefully taken out when they protested at the disappearance of a member. July 14, 2001 9 member Dacoit team was arrested by Rangareddy District Task Force today. The team was involved in many cases in Delhi and Agra. June 25, 2001 A married women aged 27 was gang raped by some unknown youth aged between 18 - 20 in Tanduru area of Rangareddy district. June 9, 2001 Home Minister Sri Devander Goud took part in various Development programmes taken up as a part of the Janmabhoomi Programme in Ranga Reddy district. He inaugurated Junior College building and an MRO Office which were developed at a cost of Rs. 1.5 Crores. June 4, 2001 8 persons died on the spot in a road accident in Ranga Reddy. The accident occurred when an Auto - Jeep collided headon. The injured were admitted to Chevilla Government Hospital. May 26, 2001 Ranga Reddy police has arrested Ms. R Satyavathi who cheated people by saying that she is the MD of Microsoft Pvt. Ltd. company and recovered Rs. 16 Lakhs from her ( 1.5 Kg Gold recovered from her Bank Lockers account ) She used to show fake certificates of various American Universities including from The University of Texas. The Police arrested her along with her Sister and Father arrested upon a case by Mr. G Venkat Rao of Kakinada. She however denied her no involvement in this case. May 22, 2001 Home Minister Sri Devendar Goud said that the Government has never forgotten the Telangana region and that the development activities will be intensified to make sure that the people never feels so. He said that Revolving Funds and other funds to the Women Groups will be allocated to Telangana.
