Autodriver died upon hit by Tungabadra Express Train An Auto Driver died when his auto was hit Tungabadra Express Train at an unmanned crossing in Mahaboobnagar. The 3 school going children who were in the auto escaped with minor injuries.

RTC Bus as Polling Booth
An APSRTC Bus was converted to be as a polling station in the Panchayat elections in Marepalle areas of Mahaboobnagar. The area needs 3 voting centers but authorities were unable to locate correct place to setup the voting centers. Thus they used an APSRTC bus as the voting center.

The Mahaboobnagar Police has arrested 12 couples who got recently married recently for getting married in Minorities. The Sub-Inspector of Shadnagar Police station said that the couples will be sent to Hyderabad for age-detection tests and that cases will be filed on those who were found to be minorities.
