Apr 19, 2002 Activists of CITU and other allied organisations staged a Dharna at the Old Bus Stand oin Cuddapah against the attack in bus crew. They stopped private busses at the old bus stand for over 2 hours. Apr 14, 2002 Police took 8 persons into custody in regard to the bomb attack case on the house of Avuku Mandal President Mr. Challa Rajasekhar Reddy in Cuddapah. Apr 3, 2002 Three persons were killed in faction feud in Cuddapah district between two rival groups. Mar 20, 2002 Mr. Paturi Sridhar - a sympathizer of the Peoples War Group was arrested by the Officer on Special Duty, Operations, Mr. SB Bagicha at Cuddapah. A Dump of explosives was recovered from his information. Mar 8, 2002 Kondreddy Yella Reddy - Surpanch of Eturu mandal of Cuddapah was murdered by his rivals of the Telugu Desam Party in Cuddapah. Jan 11, 2002 Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu took part in the concluding day programmes of the Janmabhoomi Programme at Cuddapah and viewed exhibits being installed. He said that the region should throw away factionists from their society and only then that the area will be developed. Ministers Mr. Rama Subba Reddy and Mrs. Saraswarti also took part in the program. Jan 3, 2002 Two persons were murdered while 3 women were injured when a rival group attacked a car in which they were traveling with bombs in Cuddapah district. Incidentally the murdered belongs to the Telugu Desam Party. Jan 2, 2002 inister Mrs. Saraswathi took part in Janmabhoomi programmes in Cuddapah.
