He took part in the Golden Jubliee celebrations of the IETE at Osmania University today. Speaking at the inaugural meet, he said that BSNL is considering providing a new scheme which enables Telephone, Television and Internet servers over a single copper line. The service is tested thoroughly in Calcutta and will be offered at a cost of Rs. 1200 a month in three cities first and later extend the same to 10 cities. The necessary equipment for providing this service is expected during this month. IETE is planning to increase its centers across the country to 50.
