24 people fell ill after taking contaminated meat at a dinner. This incident happened in Lingapalem mandal of West Godavari district. The ill-takers were admitted to local hospital and medical care was provided.

Various varieties of industrial grade sugar canes which are advantageous to farmers were put on display.
