The new ratham was built using modern technologies including the usage of Hydraulic breaking system and a re-designed wheel. The thief was a resident of Chitoor and used to steal Cell phones, Laptops and other costly items from fellow commuters in trains. Items worth Rs. 3.5 Lakhs were receiver from him.
