Congress wins at Kasibugga and Palasa
Congress Party won the Municipal elections in Kasibugga and Palasa in Srikakulam districts. The elections were held after a gap of 6 years. Congress candidate displayed a win in 14 wards of the total 21 wards. Congress Party Spokesman Mr. Rosayya said that the defeat of TDP is a sign of indiscrimination towards TDP from the people.

Elections in Palasa were held today after a period of 20 years. Many voters came out to cast their vote. A total of 30,500 voters were in the Municipality limits of Palasa. The main competition is expected to be between Congress and TDP.
