Joint Registrar and District Co-Operative Officer I Ramadevi said that the Kurnool Co-operative Credit Bank Ltd was liquidated. She said that the bank cannot carry business further with weak fundamentals as per the rules of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Chief Minister Sri N Chandrababu Naidu visited various areas in Nandikotkuru area in Kurnool district. He checked the Roads development works, Water shed and other Water management programs. He commented that Congress will never know of the benefits of Janmabhoomi programme as long as they stay in Hyderabad and ignore the districts and villages.
