Over 1830 Gold-colored Tortoise that were recently being recovered at the Singapore Airport from smugglers from Chitoor district were brought back to the Nehru Zoological Park brought in 19 boxes. These tortoise were brought from Singapore Zoological Gardens and were kept in special enclosures at the Nehru Zoological park.
