Pole dancing game all set to hit Wii consoles

After Nintendo Wii, get ready for another Wii-like game that promises to keep you fit, and that too by letting you stretch your muscles in a more sexier way, i.e. pole dancing.

London, May 5 : After Nintendo Wii, get ready for another Wii-like game that promises to keep you fit, and that too by letting you stretch your muscles in a more sexier way, i.e. pole dancing.

Now, boffins are planning to develop a pole dancing game for the best-selling Wii console.

While British-owned Peekaboo Pole Dancing is discussing the plans to develop the new game for Nintendo, it maintains that the game is mainly aimed at keeping the users fit.

"It will be about fun and exercise for a new generation," The Sun quoted spokesman Simon Kay, as saying.

The company, which also makes a pole-dancing kit featuring Baywatch hottie Carmen Electra, has claimed that the game will come with an interactive pole.

"With classes springing up in gyms across Europe and the US, the number of women seeking the body-sculpting and fat-burning effects of this aerobic form of exercise has never been greater," said Kay.

He added: "The goal is to encourage men and women of all shapes and sizes to improve their pole dancing skills while having fun, toning up and burning calories."

However, before hitting the markets, the finished game has to seek Nintendo's approval.

The game is in line with the popular Wii fit exercise game, in which people stand on a pressure-sensitive board and play games to improve fitness, strength and balance.
