Washington, July 23 : With green becoming the buzz word in internet circles, a YouTube like website called GoGreenTube, where videos that deal with environmental issues can be uploaded, is fast becoming a hit.

GoGreenTube was launched last month and offers an opportunity for people to view and share videos about the environment, green technologies, news and products.

The site is aimed at spreading environmental knowledge and for that it has joined hands with Carbonfund.org's Carbon Free Program.

On every video that is watched, GoGreenTube offsets one pound of carbon dioxide. The site also enables viewers to sign up to receive community carbon credits for videos viewed.

And just like its general counterpart YouTube, registration for GoGreenTube is free and anyone may upload videos to share.
