Luminescent polymers could pave way for brighter laptop, cellphone LEDs, longer battery life
A team of US and Japanese scientists have developed a new and inexpensive means of forcing luminescent polymers to give off polarized light, which could lead to brighter source for LEDs in laptops, cellphones, and other consumer electronics devices of the future. This would also lead to less power consumption and a longer battery life, they said. ANI
