Google voted UKs most favourite brand

Internet search engine, Google, has been voted the UKs most favourite brand, according to a poll conducted by Marketing magazine.

London, May 8 : Internet search engine, Google, has been voted the UK's most favourite brand, according to a poll conducted by 'Marketing' magazine.

Following Google was Finnish telecommunication corporation, Nokia, at the second place and Amazon, who made it to the third spot.

Grocery outlet, Tesco, and auction site, eBay, rounded the top five positions, at the fourth and the fifth spots respectively.

In the annual poll, McDonald's, AOL and Sunny Delight and Pot Noodle were voted the most hated brands.

According to the magazine's editor, Craig Smith, the poll showed the impact technology brands are making in the market.

Smith also said that the most hated brands have had a polarising effect.

The editor added that the brands can still have a hold by maintaining their loyal customers.

"The least popular brands such as McDonald's and Pot Noodle have a polarising effect. They are hated by the nation's self-appointed food police, but they can remain in good shape as long as they keep a loyal core of customers," "the Telegraph quoted him, as saying.
