TTD to release 5,000 Arjitha seva tickets tomorrow

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) will release 5,000 Srivari Arjitha Seva tickets which could not be released due to a technical snag on August 7 will be available for booking on August 20 by 9am onwards on www.ttdsevaonline.com.

Speaking to media after the high-level co-ordination meeting with the police, APSRTC officials and HoDs of various departments of TTD, Executive Officer D.Sambasiva Rao said that it has dispensed with performance of all kinds of ‘Arjitha sevas’ at the temple during the nine day Brahmostavams scheduled from September 16.

The Executive Officer said that six lakh laddus will be maintained and both the ghat roads will be kept open round-the-clock and the APSRTC officials have been urged to operate 2,000 to 2,500 services every day during Brahmostavams and the services will be enhanced on Garuda Seva day on September 20. He said that food counters will be set-up along the mada streets encircling the shire in addition to drinking water and toilet facilities. Buffet system will be organized at the Nitya Annadanam complex on Garuda Seva day to enable them to serve food to maximum number of pilgrims. Over 50 CCTV cameras will be set up at all the vantage points atop the town in addition to the existing 250 cameras.
