Chandrababu Naidu to launch Knowledge Mission on April 8

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will launch the Andhra Pradesh Knowledge Mission on April 8.

Andhra Pradesh Minister for HRD Ganta Srinivasa Rao said on Monday that the objective of the Knowledge Mission was to improve the educational standards in the State and to develop into a knowledge hub. He said that Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu will participate in the function to be held at Andhra University.

Pratibha Awards: He said that the Chief Minister would present Pratibha Awards to 2,375 degree students for their meritorious academic achievements and each awardee will get prizes worth Rs.30,000 including Rs.20,000 cash and a laptop worth Rs.10,000.

The State Government is planning to sponsor the educational expenses of Pratibha awardees helping them to secure admission to the college of their choice from the next year, said Ganta Srinivasa Rao.
