Jagan meets President, complains on Chandrababu Naidu

YSR Congress Party president and leader of the Opposition in the AP State Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met President Pranab Mukherjee today. Speaking to media after the meeting, Jagan said that Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu should be included as A-1 in the 'note for vote' scam.

Jagan Reddy said Chandrababu Naidu is making efforts to create a diversion in the case in the last couple of days. He said that the Andhra Pradesh is turned into 'Scam Andhra Pradesh'. Jagan alleged that Chandrababu is spending the money from the State for purchase of MLAs. Jagan reminded that the TDP MLA Revanth Reddy was caught red handed while attempting to bribe a nominated MLA at Rs.5 crore and the audio tapes of the voice of Naidu was also available. The party has submitted a memorandum to the President of India seeking his interference. Jagan requested the President to see that Chandrababu Naidu tender his resignation and be arrested in the scam. He also requested the President to see that Special Status be accorded to Andhra Pradesh.

Three member committee on Phone tapping:
Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu alleged that Telangana government is tapping the phones of the Chief Minister with a view to tarnish his image. This is a matter of serious nature and a memorandum would be submitted to the Union Home Minister, he said. He said that a three member committee will be constituted comprising of three Union Ministers. ‘We have information of 125 tapes recorded and an in-depth inquiry is needed on this as it relates to the security issue’, he said.

Security staff changed
Meanwhile, Chandrababu Naidu has totally shifted the security staff posted at his residence. An IPS officer of the cadre of ASP has been entrusted with the security related issues to the Chief Minister.

Notices to Chandrababu Naidu
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao today held discussions with the ACB DG AK Khan and intelligence IG Shivadhar Reddy at this camp office. Sources said that the Chief Minister has given clearance to them to serve notices to the AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu which are likely to be issued at any time from now.
