YSRCP decries TDP for setting of hundies at Secretariat
July 20, 2014 - Hyderabad
The YSRCP criticised the Telugu Desam Party government for setting up ‘hundies’ at the Secretariat for accepting donations for construction of new State capital and development of the State.
Addressing a press conference, YSRCP spokesperson Ambati Rambabu wanted to know why the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu with nine years’ experience as Chief Minister and 10 years as Opposition party leader was trying to find excuses in fulfilling the poll promises of loan waiver and loans of DWACRA group. He said that the people shocked to see the appearance of two hundies in Secretariat on Saturday.
It may be recalled that one hundi was vanished by the evening following widespread criticism from various parties and people. Ambati Rambabu said that those who visit the Secretariat would be those seeking benefits or favours from the Chief Minister or other Ministers in different forms and not the common people. He wanted to know from the Government what kind of message it wants to give to the people.
Terming the two months rule of Chandrababu Naidu reminded of the Moghul emperor Mohn.Bin Tuglaq. He said that the people voted Naidu to power that he would bail out the people from the bifurcation blues. He said that people were wondering why Chandrababu Naidu spent Rs.30 crore for his oath taking ceremony and Rs.23 crore on the renovation of his chambers in the Secretariat and Lake View Guest house and his camp office while seeking people contribution for the construction of new State capital.
