YSRCP chief Jagan gives call for three day protest programmes on Loan waiver

YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy gave a call to the people of Andhra Pradesh to raise protest programmes in the name of ‘Narakasura Vadha’ and burn the effigies of the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for deceiving people on loan waivers.
Speaking to media on Wednesday, Jagan Reddy said that as a responsible opposition party had been insisting of waiver of all farm and DWCRA loans to the TDP government as he promised to waive all loans and became the Chief Minister. He appealed all the opposition parties to share in the protest programmes especially the left parties in all 13 districts of the State.
Jagan said that that Chandrababu Naidu who chaired the 184th level State Level Bankers Conference (SLBC) on June 30 has said that Rs.87,612 crore and DWACRA loans are Rs.14,204 crores totalling to Rs.1,01,816 crore. He waived Rs.35,000 crore that amounts to downsizing it by 37 per cent and we are protesting against the gross injustice’, said YSRCP chief.
It may be recalled that Chandrababu Naidu on July 21 announced the waiver of Rs.1.5 lakh as a maximum a loan a family totalling to Rs.35,000 crore. The TDP led government has decided to waive loans amounting to Rs.7,600 Women SHGs and another Rs.300 for loans of SCs/STs and small artisans.
