Wipro and Tech Mahindra to provide 12,500 jobs

Wipro and Tech Mahindra have approached the State Government for land for setting up facilities to create 12,500 jobs.
Sources said that the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has agreed in principle to provide 10 acres of land to Tech Mahindra in Visakhapatnam to would provide 5,000 jobs while Wipro to provide 7,500 jobs that would set up a Special Economic Zone.
Minister of Information Technology Palle Raghunath Reddy said that the new Government will promote Visakhapatnam as the IT hub and will have a Mega IT hub to an extend of 3,000 acres.
