'Voting is the only way out', says Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy

Speaking at the press conference on Wednesday, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy reiterated his stand that opinion on the AP State Reorganization Bill 2013 should be through only voting.

Kiran Kumar Reddy said any bill is taken up as per the constitutional provisions and procedures. 'All conventions say voting was taken up. He said opinion could be taken up only through voting', he said. He said that no State was divided without taking considerations of the members' views.

Appeals to YRSCP and TDP

Appealing the both parties to participate in the debate and give opinion, Chief Minister wanted these parties refusing to have discussion would have negative impact. He wanted to know why these members were reluctant to give their opinion. He said if they are committed to the united cause, they should participate in the debate, he said.

Kiran Kumar Reddy said that these two parties first backed the division of the State and then changed their stand. He sought to know why the YSRCP to tell the Centre to divide the State under the provisions of Article 3.
