Voters want Union Minister Chiranjeevi to follow queue

April 30, 2014 - Hyderabad

Voters on Wednesday stopped Union Minister for Tourism K Chiranjeevi to follow queue to cast his vote as he and daughter were found entering the polling station to cast their votes.

Chiranjeevi's wife and actor-son Ramacharan Tej, however broke the line and voted early. He said that he went inside the booth only to find out if his name was on the electoral rolls as he had faced difficulties in voting in a previous election.

Raja Karthik Ganta, a young Cambridge based information technology professional who had come from London to vote took the lead in stopping Chiranjeevi when he along with his family members tried entering the polling booth. Chiranjeevi obliged, clarified his version and cast his vote by standing in a queue.
