July 10, 2014 - Hyderabad
Responding over the Union Budget, YSRCP president and leader of the Opposition in the AP State Assembly, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy speaking to media on Thursday said that it lacked clarity.
Jagan Reddy said that the Budget had no mention of the financial deficit of the State along with other issues. ‘Financial deficit is said to be Rs.15,000 crores by some persons and I do not know the exact figure. He said that after a look at the Budget, there were mentions of Rs.1,000 crore or even Rs.100 crore but nowhere the huge amount of Rs.14,000 crore was mentioned’, said Jagan.
Jagan Mohan Reddy said that they requested the Centre to give clarity on this. He said that he will be meeting the Prime Minister and Finance Minister on this. He said that YSRCP will urge them to cooperate with the State as it is in deep financial crisis. He also wanted clarify on the issues of the AP State Reorganization Act by the Central Government.
