Two YSRCP MLAs suspended

AP Assembly Speaker Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao on Tuesday suspended two YSRCP MLAs R Sivaprasada Reddy and M Mani Gandhi for the rest of the sessions for uprooting the mikes of the Chair.
Minister for Legislative Affairs Yanamala Ramakrishnudu moved the motion which was adopted by voice vote. He said that they also tried to attack the Chair and proposed recovery of the costs of damage caused from their salaries. The incident took place when the Assembly was adjourned for the second time on Tuesday when YSRCP members were in the well and at the podium demanding more time for the Leader of the Opposition to speak on the Budget and the Speaker held together the uprooted mikes and kept them in the inner desk before adjourning the House for 15 minutes. He directed them to leave the House but staged protests in the well.
YSRCP MLAs wearing black badges raised slogans against the biased attitude of the Speaker and demanded justice.
