Two Deputy Chief Ministers posts likely for Andhra Pradesh Government

In the back drop of the Telugu Desam Party president Nara Chandrababu Naidu who announced that one Deputy Chief Minister post will be for BCs and another for Kapu community, the issue of names likely to adore have gained prominence in political circles.

There are two senior leaders from Backward Classes community viz., Opposition leader the Council Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and the other is Kurnool MLA KE Krishna Murty. Incidentally, there are the polit bureau members. Political sources said that Yanamala may get the deputy Chief Minister post. However, sources said that these two leaders will get ministerial berths.

As far as Kapu community is concerned, the aspirants for the deputy Chief Minister post are on the high. Former Ministers Kimidi Kala Venkata Rao, Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Mandali Buddha Prasad, Nimmakayala Chinnarajappa are in the fray. The minus points for Kala Venkata Rao and Ganta Srinivas Rao re-joined the party after a stay in Praja Rajyam Party while Buddha Prasad joined the party well before elections. East Godavari MLA Chinnarajappa who was in the party and as district president for the last 16 years have fair chances of getting Deputy Chief Minister post. However, Chiarajappa and Yanamala belong to East Godavari and time has to say who will get the post.
