Three dead bodies of students retrieved in Beas River

The rescue teams searching for the dead bodies of VNR Vignan Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology of Hyderabad have retrieved three dead bodies on Sunday. The deceased were identified as Ritwik from Nallakunta, Hyderabad and Ramesh from Narsampet in Warangal district while the third dead body is yet to be identified.
With this, the total of dead bodies of the students retrieved so far had gone to 16 and still eight more bodies have to be retrieved. The search teams are on the job.
It may be recalled that 24 students form VNR Vignan Jyothi College from Hyderabad who were on industrial tour were washed away on June 8 with the Larji dam officials suddenly released the water without any warning from that led to the mishap according to reports.
